Alberta T. Turner (1919 - 2003) Professor Emerita of English and a widely honored poet, died at her home in Oberlin, Ohio, on May 21, 2003, after a long illness. She was married to the late Arthur Turner, a professor of English at Oberlin College, and is survived by their two children and five grandchildren.
